LAKES CONSORTIUM
The Lakes Tourist Consortium was founded in 1993 with the aim of promoting the territory and businesses of Sarcidano and Barbagia di Seulo. The Consortium has about 200 beds in the various quaint farmhouses, bed and breakfasts and hotels: the wonderful OmuAxiu diffuse hotel and museum, the charming Castellinaria hotel in Orroli, the charming Istellas hotel and the nautical center on Lake Flumendosa.
The nautical center and Istellas Hotel are the starting point for the characteristic Mississippi-style boat, unique in Sardinia, for fascinating excursions on Lake Mulargia.
The territory of the Consortium is extremely rich in archaeological evidence and naturalistic treasures: here we find some of the best-known archaeological sites on the island, such as the Nuraghe Arrubiu in Orroli, Pranu Muttedu in Goni, Santa Vittoria in Serri, and the Is Janas caves in Sadali.
Licensed, trained and passionate tour guides guide visitors to the various sites.
To make the tourist offer complete, the Consortium can rely on the GT Lusso Dedoni Turismo transportation service for travel in the area and to and from airports and ports. Through the website www.laghienuraghi.it the Consortium is able to satisfy all requests related to:
